The Japan India Industry Promotion Association (JIIPA) is a Tokyo-based Non-Profit Organization (NPO) affiliated with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. JIIPA’s primary mandate is to promote and facilitate trade, investment, and business collaboration between Japan and India, with a strong emphasis on long-term industrial partnerships and sustainable bilateral growth.

Since its establishment, JIIPA has been actively engaged in developing structured institutional platforms that enhance bilateral cooperation and meaningful interaction among industry stakeholders, government departments, and business communities of both nations.

JIIPA operates as an industry facilitation and promotion body, serving as a strategic bridge between Indian and Japanese stakeholders. The Association supports mutual growth and long-term collaboration across diverse sectors, such as Electronics & Semiconductors, Renewable Energy, Electric Vehicles, Capital Goods, Textiles, Food & Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals & Critical Minerals, Infrastructure and allied industries.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, JIIPA also maintains representative offices in New Delhi and Mumbai, India. This presence enables effective coordination with regional industry bodies, trade associations, media organizations, and government agencies.

The Association works in close collaboration with embassies, government institutions, industry associations, private sector enterprises, and non-profit organizations to strengthen trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between India and Japan.
